When is rent due?

Rent is due on or before the first day of each month.  All rent should be paid by check, money order or online through our website, www.primehousinggroup.com. Our office is open Monday – Friday, 10 am to 5 pm and is located in Cedarview East Apartments – 1390 East Grand River Ave.  If you are unable to turn your rent in during office hours, place your check in the drop slot next to the office door.  Your building hall key will get you into the office hallway. Please remember we DO NOT ACCEPT CASH. Make all rent checks payable to Prime Housing Group and include your building name and apartment number on the memo line.  Late fees will be assessed at $25.00 on the 5th day of each month plus an additional $5.00 per day until the total rental payment is paid in full.

How do I submit a maintenance request?

All maintenance concerns should be reported to the office at 517-337-1133 during office hours. When the office is closed, the calls are answered by a service that will take emergency calls (no heat, overflowing water, etc.). Do not email or text any maintenance requests.

What should I do if my smoke detector starts chirping every two minutes?

That means the battery is low and needs to be replaced.  Come to the office to get a 9-volt battery during office hours. Do not ignore the beeping and do not disable the smoke alarm.  Please do not contact emergency maintenance for a chirping smoke detector.

How are packages delivered?

Packages are typically delivered to apartment doors or left by the mailboxes inside the apartment building.  Most of the package delivery companies have a key to the hallways.  Do not prop the hallway doors open for package or food delivery.
