It’s August! Let’s start the month of August off right by having some fun.

Bath Days Festival is a two-day festival offering midway rides, food, entertainment, car show, parade, games and most of all…Bath Tub races for all.  Enjoy cold beverages, hot food and shopping among the many vendors featuring home/hand made items you can only buy during Bath Days on August 4 & 5, 2017.

Located in Old Town, surrounded by the best of the Capital City’s art galleries and unique retail stores and grand architecture, the 23rd annual Lansing JazzFest’s multiple stages offer outstanding talent, from local favorites to regional and national acts.  This event is also taking place on August 4 & 5, 2017.

August 5 is the Island Fair.  The oldest fair in mid-Michigan and a state-wide favorite! Over 100 artists and craftsmen, music, food and riverboat rides. Free shuttle provided. Located on The Island, downtown Grand Ledge.

The MSU Museum presents this three-day celebration of culture, tradition, and community. Find music, dance, food and more with the roots, the rhythms and the richness of cultures across America and around the world.  Help celebrate Great Lake Folk Festival August 11-13,2017.

Two weekends of free theatre showcased in Lansing’s most artistic district—Old Town; featuring a wide range of performance styles from comedy, puppet shows, musicals, improv, staged readings and more!  So join the Renegade Theatre Festival for some fun on August 10-12 & 17-19, 2017.

Each year the mint farming heritage is celebrated at the St. Johns Mint Festival. Arts and crafts, flea market, food concessions, parade, four sports tournaments, free entertainment, quilt show, car show, carnival and tons of activities for kids.  Celebrate this year August 11-13, 2017.
